Mechanism of Coal Burst Triggered by Mining-Induced Fault Slip Under High-Stress Conditions: A Case Study

Coal burst disaster is easily triggered by mining-induced fault unloading instability involving underground engineering. The high-static stress environment caused complex geological structures increases the difficulty in predicting and alleviating such disasters humans. At present, mechanism of coal induced slip under high-stress conditions still cannot be reasonably explained. In this study, accidents occurring near were carefully combined, “time–space–intensity” correlation excavation, fault, syncline anticline structure mining areas was summarized. On basis, rotation characteristics main field surface subjected to evolution law analyzed. Last, based on spectrum tremors, first motion P-wave, ratio Es/Ep, source behind revealed. results demonstrate that closely related excavation disturbance fold structure. Mining activities trigger activation discontinuous structural field, release a large amount elastic strain energy cause dynamic as bursts. research study are helpful enrich cognition inducing burst.
